2013 Allen Harbor 1

Despite the poor weather on Friday into Saturday morning Allen Harbor 1 turned out to be a terrific rendezvous enjoyed by all attending. Saturday afternoon was a great sailing day with a member new to sailing getting some lessons and tips to improve his skills while enjoying the ride. The BBQ on Saturday evening was a lot of fun and gave us the opportunity to welcome some new members to our club. On Sunday the sailing was good but in the afternoon we lost the wind so we decided to raft up at the beach, socialize, enjoy some food, and do some swimming. It felt good getting together with old friends and making new friends after the long winter.

Sure looks nice 1 Wish I could have been there with you ! However I'm heading out on Lake St. Clair Friday to get the lay of the lake. Then I'll see what my Venture 21 can do :D
