MINUTES
MOANE MEETING, OCTOBER 16, 1999




The formal meeting was opened following a period of socializing by Commodore Bruce Foshay 
at 11:30 am with 11 members present representing 6 boats.

The Secretary's report was not available.

The Treasurer reported that there were presently 66 paid up members and an account balance of 
$1,082.

The November Meeting was scheduled for November 13th at 11:00 am at the Nashua Country 
Club.

Possible speakers for future meetings were discussed, with interest expressed in a speakers from 
Weems & Plath or Navtronics, Larry Brown, or Doug Pope.  A new presentation in the 
"Lighthouse" series is tentatively scheduled for March, 2000.  The February meeting was 
projected to be held at the Savin Hill Yacht Club on the weekend of the Boston Boat Show.

The December meeting will be combined with a Christmas party at the Foshays. It was 
scheduled for Saturday, December 11th starting at 2:00 p.m.

The board meeting to prepare for the annual meeting was scheduled for January 8, 2000. The 
annual meeting of the club will be held on January 15, 2000.

The meeting concluded with general discussion, including projected cruises for next season. A 
trip to Cuttyhunk in either June or September was of interest to many.  There was also a feeling 
that there should be an Allen Harbor weekend during the summer.
