The meeting was opened by the new Commodore Harold Streeter at Noon at Jacoppi's Colonial Tyng Manor in Tyngsboro, MA.

Hal Streeter, the new Commodore, introduced himself and gave a brief talk about his background, his boat, where he sails, etc. He then introduced the other newly elected officers and they proceeded to do likewise.
A discussion took place about the February Meeting (Boat Show Meeting) and it was decided to hold it at the Savin Hill Yacht Club at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2001.
Bob Chase discussed the March meeting and said that he would make arrangements to hold it at Sailing Specialties in Mystic.
The tentative date will be on Saturday, March 31, 2001 and will coincide with a two-day open house to be held by the host. Also, a visit to Mystic Seaport was discussed. Details on lodging will be forthcoming for those who wish to stay overnight.
A tentative date for the April meeting, to be held at the Nashua Country Club will be on Saturday, April 21, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Commodore Streeter will be in charge of arrangements. Arrangements are also being made to have Mr. Jones back to again give a presentation on lighthouses.

Note from Fleet Captain Barbara - The Rendezvous with exact dates are set. The other rendezvous are suggestions that will be discussed at future meetings.
Barbara Garland reported that she had only a few club burgees left and requested permission to order some more.
The Commodore requested a motion to authorize the Treasurer to order a dozen more burgees. It was so moved and seconded. ALL IN FAVOR
Commodore Streeter called for a motion to adjourn the meeting and it was so moved by Pam Foshay and seconded by Barbara Garland. Motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
