M.O.A.N.E. MEETING - JANUARY 25, 2003

Acting Commodore Bill Brock opened the meeting at 11:30 a.m. at the Nashua, NH Country Club.

Following the opening of the meeting the members present introduced one another for the benefit of the new members attending.

MINUTES
MOTION 1.03 - Roger Garland moved, seconded by Bruce Foshay, to approve the January 11, 2003 Meeting of the Board of Directors' meeting as presented.

TREASURER'S REPORT - JEANNE BROCK
Jeanne Brock gave the report. She reported a balance in the Treasury of $1,5393.94 as of this meeting. She also reported that there are 73 members.
MOTION 2.03 Bruce Foshay moved, seconded by Pat Martin, to approve the Treasurer's Report as presented.

TREASURER'S AUDIT
The Acting Commodore asked for a volunteer to audit the Association's Treasury. Ted Goodhue volunteered.

BOARD ELECTIONS FOR 2003
The following were elected as officers for 2003:

Commodore - Bill Brock
Vice Commodore - Ed Goodhue
Rear Commodore - Chuck Crosbie
Fleet Captain/Cruising and Race - Barbara Garland
Treasurer - Jeanne Brock
Webmaster/Historian - Roger Garland
Secretary - John O'Connor
Members-at-Large - Pam Foshay
Members-at-Large - Jack Chadowitz

The voting for each candidate was unanimous.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Following Bruce Foshay's recommendation made last year to change M.O.A.N.E. from an association to a yacht club, several different types of membership cards (courtesy of Rani Chadowitz and Bill Brock) were presented for comment.
Discussion took place on whether an expiration date should be on the card or not and some other minor changes. No decision was made.

DUES FOR 2003
It was decided to keep the dues at $10.00 for 2003.

ADJOURNMENT
MOTION 3.03 - Ed Goodhue moved, seconded by Chuck Crosbie to adjourn the meeting.

The Commodore closed the meeting at 2:15 p.m.
