Directions to ramp:
I-95/NH Turnpike to Exit 2 - State Rte 51/101. Go Southeast on State Rte 51/101 to US 1 at Hampton Beach. Go Northeast on US 1A past Rye Beach to Rye Harbor - you will be along the coast for about 7 miles or so.
Ramp condition and docks:
Wide ramp, no adjacent dock. Docks are about 30 feet across from base of ramp, so you have to launch, take the boat over to the dock and then walk back around to the ramp to get your vehicle and park it. Adequate ramp surface at low tide. Temporary docking for launching, retrieving and Fuel.
Parking and Fee:
Plenty of parking, relatively secure area. $8.00 launch & park. Plenty of room in parking lot to set up.
Amenities:
Snack bar, toilets, fuel. Adjacent to Rye Harbor State Park - nice view and picnic area.
Other notes:
Sheltered harbor. Sometimes moorings available. Short sail to Portsmouth Harbor (5 Miles) or Isle of Shoals (7 miles).
