Directions to ramp: From the north - Take I-295 south to I-95 south to Rt. 4 south (Exit 9 LEFT EXIT of 2 or 3 lanes). Take exit 7 off Rt. 4 (Rt. 402/403) and continue straight off the exit ramp to Rt. 403. Follow Rt. 403 till you go under an underpass and come to a light (about 2 miles). Go straight at the light onto Davisville Rd. Follow Davisville Rd. about 2.5miles (past the yacht club sign) to a stop sign and a gate. Go left before the gate and then bear left and you are there.Map

From the South - Take I95 north to Exit 8. Get on Rt. 2 South. Get in the left lane as soon as possible. Go left at the first traffic light to Rt. 401 East. Get in the right lane. In less than a mile (right after the mall) make a right turn on to to Rt. 4 South. Then follow the instructions from Rt 4 above. NOTE: at the light on the junction of Rt 2 and 401 there is a mall on your right with a West Marine.

 Ramp condition and docks: There are two ramps with a dock between them. There are also other docks for short term tieup. The ramps are well protected from wind and waves. Chart

 Parking and Fee: Plenty of parking; cars can be left for several days. $6.00/launch.

Amenities: There are toilets and cold showers, a small snack bar, picnic tables, docks in addition to the ones by the ramp for loading and unloading. There is an area in the North end of the harbor to anchor overnight or the possibility of renting a slip or a mooring for overnight (see or call harbor master 401-294-1212).

Other notes: There is a large S turn in the channel going out and there is very shallow water if you get outside the channel
