Directions to ramp:
From Salisbury, MA center head south on Rt.1 as you cross
bridge over Merrimack river stay to the right. Bear right at bottom
of ramp follow approx 3/4 of mile you will see Leary Spirits on
right. Continue on. Take right at Cashman Park between stone
pillars on right. Note you will be following along the river the
whole time. Ramp condition and docks:
Double ramp usuable at all tides with docking on each side.
Harbormaster present and keeps everyone organized. This is a
very popular ramp on the weekends and at peak times you can
expect up to an hour wait both launching and retrieving.Parking and Fee:
Plenty of secure parking. Launching fee is $5 per day/$75 per season.Amenities:
Toilets and a few picnic tables available. Just down river you
may tie up for a short time on the town docks and explore
Newburyport. Other notes:
If you go in early and leave late the long lines are advoided
